![]() The rest of the file is mostly just doing the correct things w/r/t province IDs, types, associated county titles, holding capacity, etc. ![]() For non-wasteland provinces, I dumped all the terrain types that 2.4.5 inferred w/ its magic algorithm in-game and used those as overrides when my algorithm was wrong. The automatic terrain classification algorithm is inferior, however (not the same logic as whatever black magic paradox uses, so it has a 3-8%ish error rate). to fill-in the requisite fields for their map. I generated that 00_province_setup.txt for SWMH with a program that reads province history, provinces.bmp, terrain.bmp, etc. SWMH's _could_ work just fine, but you use far more terrain types than SWMH, and it'd be nice to see a province actually classified and treated as 'marsh' and such things (and generally to have the terrain classifications actually match what things look like on the map), which is currently impossible with vanilla terrain color table assignments. It summarizes the representative terrain of each province (each province has a single terrain-type, all graphics aside) as some sort of optimization so that automatic terrain type classification doesn't have to be done (slightly time-consuming algorithm). If you have any bugs to report, just comment down below and I will check the comments periodically. It doesn't overwrite the terrain.bmp texture mappings. LTM replaces and updates most cosmetic materials related to the map such as textures, borders, rivers, shaders, among other things, with assets of higher quality and with higher detail. The conversion from the original mod to CK2 is Typus Orbis Terrarum FULL for CK2 by Brahguy (which is compatible with 2.7 but obsolete now). Full credit is given to Bizarcasm for his work on the base files, for the beautiful Typus Orbis Terrarum for EUIV. Description This started as a personal mod, but is now fully integrated into HIP. The original mod is Typus Orbis Terrarum for EU4 by bizarcasm. Ultimate aim of this mod is to add cultural titles to all of the cultures. Referenced from mostly from Google maps, but also from historical maps in cases where the coasts have dramatically changed.A completely new terrain map. I'm asking if there is a mod like Theatrum Orbis Terrarum for CKII or just generally any mod that improves performance but doesn't take away depth. All coastlines have been redrawn by hand. I include Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia just in case that the devs decide to add provinces in those areas in the future.Features:A completely new map projection, the Braun Stereographic Projection.A completely new heightmap, based on NASA satellite imagery.Completely re-done coastlines. now it works smoothly with the japanese localization mod. UPDATE: Orbis Terrarum 1.2a is out, see patch notes discussion for details. I deleted fonts.gfx and tooltip.gui from the zip file. ![]() It just appeared once in the mod section and when I entered the game nothing had changed. I have installed this mod in 2016, and this is the only one I'm using in my every game to this day. Graphical asset files can be found with older versions of: Crusader Kings II (CK2). It features the area included in the vanilla game, plus part of Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Theatrum Orbis Terrarum MOD Hey, is it still possible to play this mod with my current ck version 3.3.2 I hit subscribe with the launcher opened and nothing happens.I also installed it manually but nothing happened. /Fun War Games Europe Countries Detailed. The original purpose of this mod was to create a new map that corrects the some of the more egregious geographical distortions in the "form of the world" of the vanilla" - bizarcasmThis mod is basically a more accurate map compared to the vanilla one. Ortelius was the creator of the first modern atlas, as well as the first person to propose the theory of continental drift. It was the name of the first map made by the Flemish cartographer, Abraham Ortelius, published in 1564. This mod is another graphical overhaul and it’s a more drastic change than the one provided by Graphical Map Improvements. "The name, "Typus Orbis Terrarum" roughly translates to "The Form of the World" in English. Im mostly an EU4 map modder, where I made a new map projection mod (Typus Orbis Terrarum) to correct some of the glaring inaccuracies of the physical geography in the base game. Example of how the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum Europa Universalis 4 Mod changes the map along with the mods logo. NOT compatible with other CK2 Plus submods that modify the map, including Rex Teutonicorum. This mod is not likely to be compatible with other CK2 Plus submods which change the map. Notice: CK2 Plus is not included so you need to download it separately. How to use it: Just select both CK2 Plus and this mod and hit Play. ![]()
